Julien Smith – Capital social & nouvelles tribus

3 septembre 2010

Trust Agents – auteur

1905 – première expérience de radio... try… dare the process of experimentation with the new radios (touch the burner – a natural instinct)

Lesson – TRY

Child laptop in Africa – automatically connected & easy

Today’s channel – Twitter

people will gather around anything that’s important to them

Just give them an audience

Controlling your future is controlling your future – the channel is forever

Channel = network = audience = voice (to develop in a future interview with Julien) but it is also where  your future happiness lies

Need to “maintain” your network/channel/audience

Building tribes is critical

Tribe = a place that matters to you and where you matter as well

Julien is entertaining... very

Social capital = building capital that matters for you

Connect and see what happens = participate... first

Create something that matters to you...

Be part of every conversation... in your tribe...

Create stuff that is visible and indexable

From a voice to a resource to a leader / expert (SME)

Each community has an inside language (i.-e. inside joke) – you got to talk the talk

The Blue Ocean Strategy – Julien recommends... highly

Be a human artist – going artistically about being human

Breaking pattern – break pattern - create emotional connection (the dog trapped in the sweater)

If you act as the lead goose; you make it easy for all geese – great metaphor

Preach by example – study shows that your friends will act as you – mimetic

Touch the burner – take a risk to see how it works / it’s time to understand the web

Be a pillar for your Community and then; you’ll be a successful man / woman

TRY... anything but try

IDEA: Touching the burner is a natural instinct; remember!

Julien Smith !  Great.  A real human being.
